SUN BREAK WINES – WINE WEDNESDAY
David Patte, wine maker and owner of Sun Break Wines, will be pouring his Pinots, Chardonnay, and Vermouth on Wednesday, August 21 for Wine Wednesday. He uses a variety of styles for his Pino, including destemmed and whole cluster, and a blend of the two styles. Furthermore, the vineyard is dry farmed, and no herbicides or synthetic fertilizers or pesticides are used. Please plan to join us for the chance to taste these fantastic wines and meet David. Twenty percent event discounts will be offered, along with 30-40% multiple case discounts.
PARKING LOT PROJECT – DATE TBD
We are in the process of scheduling our parking lots to be cleaned, resurfaced, and restriped. Once we have a date we will communicate via email. This will be a one-day project.

Below are a few reminders to assist us with managing the ever-increasing mezzanine demands…
- For current mezzanine users, please give us at least a 7-day notice for up/down services.
Make sure all boxes are properly packed and marked.
The maximum box bottle count for all boxes is 12.
If you are looking to store wine long-term for an incredibly low storage rate, please let us know.

SILAS WINES – SPECIAL TASTING
WWS client, Alex Clark, will be on hand Wednesday, April 17th from 5:00 to 8:00pm to pour a sampling of their outstanding wines for WWS clients and their guests. Alex is the winemaker for Silas Wines and has an extensive background in the wine industry. Since 2008 Alex has been making Silas Wines with an attention to small batch production, using old-world techniques. The winery is offering extensive discounts to WWS clientele, including 30% off on case purchases. If you are interested in the list of wines being poured, along with tasting notes, please shoot me an email.
BLACK DREAMS VENDING
We are pleased to announce our new vending partner, Black Dreams Vending. Owned and operated by Junior McDonald, we are looking to offer WWS clients a larger variety of quality food items. If you have any suggestions for something you’d like to see, please let us know.

HOLDING LOCKER RATE INCREASE
As WWS has grown over the years, so has the need for our holding locker services. We have two holding locker areas, and both are nearly full. If you have wines that do not fit in your locker upon delivery, we offer two weeks of complimentary storage. Beyond two weeks, we will be charging $5.00 per box per week. Should you have extenuating circumstances, please advise and we can work out an agreeable plan. Thank you.
VIOLIN WILLAMETTE VALLEY – WINE TASTING

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT LINK
For clients that typically receive their invoices via email and pay by check or calling in a credit card, your invoices moving forward will have a link imbedded where you will have the ability to pay via credit card directly. Let us know if you have any questions.
FEDEX
In the ever-moving target of shipping wine, we are no longer able to use UPS, but have activated our FedEx account. Please keep in mind if you want to ship your wine, clients will need to use our WWS Shipping Form. They are located in the cellar, and we can email you a digital version as well.

BJORNSON CELLARS TASTING – June 14th
WWS clients and their guests are in for a special treat! For the first time since the pandemic, we are hosting a winery for Wine Wednesday. We are pleased to welcome Bjornson Vineyards for a tasting on Wednesday, June 14. They will be pouring their WV Pinot and Reserve Pinot, along with a Rose’ and White Blend. Furthermore, they will be extending wine club discounts on purchases as follows >
- 6-11 bottles = 15%
- 1-2 cases = 20%
- 3 cases for more = 25%

Arduous is an understatement, but yes, we are still in the process of finalizing our shipping licenses. Please check the newsletter in May for another update or feel free to give us a call. Our plan is to have this nailed down by the end of this month, yet again!

CONGRATULATIONS KEVIN & MONIQUE
On Monday, November 28, a miracle occurred when Monique and Kevin brought baby girl, Nova, into the world. She weighed 8 lbs. 13 ounces. Both Mom and Nova are healthy, and the entire family is thrilled. From the entire WWS community, congratulations!!
HOLIDAY HOURS FOR DECEMBER
This year Christmas falls on a Sunday, so we will only be closed on a normal “staffed” day on Saturday, December 24th. We will have the cellar staffed on Saturday, December 31st.

For security purposes, the alarm system will automatically set at 1:00AM each morning. There will still be the standard three-minute audio warning to disarm the system should you be at the cellar or using the tasting room.

SHIPPING WINE TO WWS…
Please make sure to instruct your wine clubs and other wine shippers to include both your first and last names on your wine deliveries. This will help us to save time putting your wine in your locker.
TASTING ROOM STATUS
The tasting room is open with the following guidelines and restrictions
- Open 24/7 to those clients fully vaccinated.
- Those not fully vaccinated, regardless of anti-body levels / status of past exposure to Covid are not permitted in the tasting room.
- Vaccinated guests are permitted, with the normal three guest maximum.

Please help us limit liability by taking your leftover wine back to your locker or home with you when you have finished using the tasting room. All wine consumed should be personal wine opened by you and your friends.

SHIPPING WINE FROM WWS…
We are working on the best course of action for our clients, but it has not been easy after losing our UPS account. At this point, we only have the Postal Annex option, and the rates are extremely high. Again, we are pushing forward for future options with at least one major carrier, but it could be some time until that transpires. New shipping forms are located in the cellar, via the cellar office or we can email the form. Thank you for your patience.
