WINE WEDNESDAY: RIESLING
As we welcome the arrival of fall, this week’s WWS Wine Wednesday theme is Riesling.
WWS clients and their guests are invited to join us in the tasting room this Wednesday. Bring a favorite Riesling to share, whether it’s one you’ve enjoyed for years or something new you’d like to try with others.
Riesling can range from bone dry to off-dry to sweet, with flavors that include citrus, green apple, peach, apricot, and floral notes, balanced by its characteristic acidity. Grown in regions ranging from Germany’s Mosel Valley and France’s Alsace to Australia’s Clare Valley and Oregon, Riesling offers an interesting opportunity to taste how the wine reflects where it is grown.
Come share a glass, compare wines, and enjoy an evening with fellow WWS wine collectors and friends.
