This week’s Wine Wednesday theme spotlights Syrah Wines!

Bold, expressive, and full of character, Syrah is known for rich dark fruit flavors, cracked pepper, and subtle smoky spice. Depending on where it’s grown—from France to Australia—it can range from elegant and savory to lush and powerful.

Syrah is celebrated around the world, but its most iconic homes are Northern Rhône, where it shows peppery elegance and earthy depth, and Barossa Valley, known for bold dark fruit and rich spice. Outstanding Syrah’s are also produced in California, Washington, and parts of Oregon.
