Wine Wednesday | April 15th, 2026 | South American Wines

This week’s Wine Wednesday theme spotlights South American Wines!
South America’s wine regions are defined by extremes—high-altitude vineyards in Argentina’s Andes, coastal valleys in Chile cooled by Pacific breezes, and Uruguay’s Atlantic-influenced vineyards producing balanced, elegant wines. Together, these diverse climates create wines with intensity, freshness, and a strong sense of place.
The wines are just as dynamic: Argentina leads with bold Malbec and aromatic Torrontés, Chile shines with Cabernet Sauvignon and its signature Carmenère—known for dark fruit and distinctive herbal, spicy notes—alongside crisp coastal whites, Uruguay is known for structured Tannat, and Brazil stands out with vibrant sparkling wines.
WWS clients and their guests are invited to bring a favorite bottle to share in the tasting room, discover something new, and enjoy great wine with even better company. Cheers!
