This week’s WWS Wine Wednesday theme is California Pinot Noir wines. California boasts several renowned regions for Pinot Noir, each offering unique characteristics influenced by their specific climates and soils. Some of the top Pinot Noir-producing areas in the state include: Russian River Valley (Sonoma Cnty.), Sta. Rita Hills (Santa Barbara Cnty), Anderson Valley (Mendocino Cnty) Santa LUcia Highlands (Montherey Cnty) and Carneros (Napa and Sonoma Cntys).
