Wine Wednesday | July 10, 2024 | Aligoté Wines

Aligoté Wine is the theme for Wine Wednesday at WWS this week. Aligoté is a white grape used to make dry white wines, especially in the Burgundy region of France where it was first recorded in the 18th century. Aligoté is most famous as the “third” grape variety of Burgundy, a poor cousin of the more prestigious (and more profitable) Chardonnay. DNA profiling has proven it to be a member of the wider Pinot family of which Chardonnay is also a member.

WWS clients and their guests are invited to stop by to share, compare and enjoy a bottle from their locker. We hope to see you on Wednesday! Cheers!
